Raicilla
Raicilla is a traditional Mexican spirit similar to Tequila and Mezcal but distinct in its own right. Raicilla is a testament to the rich and diverse traditions of Mexican distilling, offering a unique tasting experience for those interested in exploring the wide world of agave spirits.
La Venenosa
La Venenosa Raicilla was created in 2011 by chef Esteban Morales to bring these hidden jewels to the global market. Esteban crossed the state of Jalisco in search of the best producers in each region.
Estancia
The Maximiliana agave that is used to produce this Raicilla, naturally grows in high altitude regions of the Sierra Madre Occidental above 6500ft. This agave takes 6-10 years to mature depending on the conditions and they tend to thrive in dry, cool high altitude climates and loamy soils. These conditions help produce the unique floral and citric characteristics in raicillas from this region.
